Well if it isn't two of my favorite things... If you've never peeked in on Kush, the purveyor of amazing rugs from all over the world, here's a great excuse: on September 30, 6-8 pm (1100 S.E. Grand Ave (2nd floor, above Rejuvination)), they will host architect Michael Stueve of SRM and Jennifer Leonard of Nifelle Designs discussing "Applying Mid-Century modern furnishings in layered interior," "Bridging disparate styles," "High/low design," and "Beautifying within a budget." Plus... wine! I'm in, particularly on the the "low" and "within a budget" tips. The selection of gorgeous, gorgeous rugs here is inspiring on its own, but these words of wisdom from the pros should give you lots of good ideas for your nest.
