After ten years of business on Hawthorne, Taste of Europe, the specialty shop for all things Old World, will be closing sometime in early August. But don’t fret too much about losing your source for European flavor. The space is slated to be replaced by 442, a new bar dedicated to soccer enthusiasts. According to their website, 442 will be:
The only bar in town where you will never miss your favorite soccer game and in addition a place where you can watch all major sporting events on 3 large HD TVs.Full liquor bar, old pub atmosphere and friendly soccer-fanatic staff.
They are currently taking suggestions on which teams and leagues you’d like to follow on those large HD screens.
