The 2010 PDX Pop Now! Festival kicks off this Friday. Until then, take a moment to get a little better acquainted with two of the acts that will be performing.

The Tumblers play authentic, drawling country—complete with fiddle and pedal steel—to get the all ages festival line-dancin', two-steppin' and hee-hawin'.
LISTEN:
The Tumblers - "The Earth Shall Become My Throne"

The ten-piece indie-spiritual collective Typhoon originally hails from Salem, but has made its mark here in Portland with passionate live shows and the excellent new record Hunger and Thirst—released by Tender Loving Empire this past May.

Typhoon - "Starting Over"
The PDX Pop Now! Festival takes place from July 30 — August 1 at Rotture (320 SE 2nd Ave, Free to all ages)
