Levi's is on a promotional tour for their new 511 Commuter jeans made with urban bicycle commuters in mind ("The 511® Commuter features fabric and construction upgrades that increase mobility and durability, while protecting cyclists from the potential hazards of their daily commute"). They're targeting a few likely spots, including PNCA and the Chris King Factory with "free bike maintenance advice and services, such as replacing bike pads, rewrapping handlebars, adding reflectors, inflating tires and fixing flats. Also, the tour will feature a professional tailor available to apply 3M reflective straps to garments, repair bike apparel and accessories, and produce complimentary bike totes. Visitors will also be provided free bike bells, custom water bottles, bottle holders and set of limited edition patches." Gotta love a promotional campaign with money to burn, however controversial it may be. One more stop that somehow got left off the flier/press release: From 4-7 pm today, they'll be at Lizard Lounge offering more of the same, plus beer and 20% off all Levi's product in the store during the event hours, should you actually want to buy some jeans and not just rip off their corporate shwag—I'm not judging either way.
