GUTMUNCHER—I do not say this lightly, folks: Burial Ground: Nights of Terror is the craziest movie I've ever seen. It's a 1981 Italian zombie schlockfest with the requisite buckets of blood and weird Catholic imagery, but the creepiest part is its casting of an adult dwarf as a 10-year-old boy. The Grindhouse Film Festival screens it tonight, and trust me, you need to see it to believe it. NL

SHARK WEEK—As part of their month-long La Luna Nueva festival, which celebrates Latino culture, the Miracle Theatre hosts performer Jay Alvarez's solo show Be Careful! The Sharks Will Eat You!, a story of his family's emigration from Cuba. The show comes highly approved: Alvarez recently won "outstanding solo performance" at the Fringe Fest in New York City. AH
