A while back I mentioned the upcoming launch of Sir Lukas, a fashion coordinating/styling firm that's introducing itself to the community with a February 18 fashion show at Candy Ultra Lounge. In addition to Golden Rule, they've announced they'll be showcasing Lux Jewelry, and Adah Lux, in a fashion show that Sir Lukas owner Jessica Lukaszenko says "has a story line that talks about the boroughs of Portland." Can't wait to check out the results! It starts at 7 pm, and $10 will get you in plus food. I'm especially curious to see the work of Adah Lux, who's new on my radar, but the colorful, self-described "culturally contemporary designs" here are a good indicator of what's to come:
