In a few hours the Decemberists will put on a live performance to be broadcast throughout the internets, I believe this what is known as a webcast. Starting at noon inside the Oregon Public Broadcasting studios the band will be interviewed by OPB Music's Jeremy Petersen and perform songs from their excellent new album, The King is Dead, which was released yesterday. After that, they'll answer the phones for a winter pledge drive and host a very special edition of Think Out Loud. Today's topic, jaywalking.
