Since the new year ticked over I've been working on an—admittedly OCD-symptomatic—system of cataloging everything in my wardrobe according to age and condition. My plan is to, once everything is listed, go through and find the 25 (or maybe 50? 100?) oldest items (barring those special pieces I'll have repaired eternally) still kickin' in my closet, and then throw a big naked lady party to give my closet a face lift and a fresh start. It seems I'm not the only one who's caught the organizational bug: Soho is running a "Let's Get Organized!" sale through the 31st, with "20% off every handbag, wallet, purse, small leather clutch, coin purse, eyeglass case, etc. that's in the store." 'Tis the zeitgeist, apparently!
