Local emcee Kenny Mack is no stranger to the law. The NE Portland resident had served time for attempted murder before the release of last year's Streets Aint Safe, and now he's headed back upstate for seven years and six months following a conviction for possessing a firearm while a felon.
On Aug. 7, 2009, gang enforcement officers walking through the Spare Room Tavern in Northeast Portland saw Mack bolt outside, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Oregon. Police gave chase and saw their suspect throw a loaded .45-caliber handgun into bushes before they caught and arrested him.Mack, identified as an associate of the Inglewood Family Blood gang, pleaded guilty to the gun charge last October. He had previous weapon and drug convictions.
Equally as unsettling are the readers who weigh in with their opinion of Mack's sentencing below that article, proof that if you need to find the worst people ever you need look no further than the Oregonian's comment section. Take it away, you racist fuck:
"Hip hop musician"? He's a rapper. A ghetto thug glorifying the degenerative downfall of the black male. And the liberal morons just nod there head and accept it as being real art. It's a culture of death, murder and greed with NO respect for women. I enjoy sitting back and watching the incarcerations. Keep it up, ghetto "artists"!
Ugh. I know, I know. Never read the comment section of the Oregonian, it's worse than starring at the sun. My fault.
