- Brittney Bush Bollay
Early last month we broke the news that the Builders and the Butchers signed up with local label Bad Man Recording Co. in anticipation of the release of their fine new long-player, Dead Reckoning (out on February 22). We posted a song back then, but given your insatiable appetite for this things, here's one more.
The moody "Lullaby" is one of Reckoning's finest moments, as its rollicking introduction simmers down to Ryan Sollee's hook of "Making pennies for a living, ain't no kind of living." Dude's right. Being poor blows. Here's hoping the band makes a mint off this new album.
