Hilarious! Depressing! Hilariously depressive! And then there's this:
The president has suggested unconvincingly that he'd prefer to be a successful one-term president than a two-term president who didn't get anything done. But there are other alternatives. If the president continues on his current course, we're looking at a failed one-term presidency that the nation cannot afford.
There's only so much longer I can go on watching the president's mouse-in-a-snake's-tank routine. I may check out entirely until it's time to vote in 2012. I will vote Democratic, of course, mostly out of habit (all out of hope), and I don't much care whether I'll be voting for the mouse we've got now or some other mouse.
