Jesus' birthday is on it's way and this year I'm celebrating by posting some of my favorite seasonal music to Blogtown/End Hits. You can expect one Christmas song a day at around this time until December 25th (starting now because I just thought of it). Some will be modern classics, some will be "other". I was looking for good Hanukkah and Kwanzaa songs but the competition was too stiff so I'm sticking with the holiday I know. I'm also not taking requests so if you have a suggestion just put a link in the comments so we can all enjoy it. Get into it!
Today's video is of underrated ELO offshoot Wizzard performing "I Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday". Seeing Roy Wood dressed as Santa (or maybe a wise man?) is fun enough, but things really get poppin' about halfway through when a elf-youth chorus joins in on tiny instruments. This happening in my living room is what I want for Christmas.
