The Decemberists have announced a spate of tour dates for next year, in support of their new album The King Is Dead, which comes out January 18. The tour includes a February 19 show at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, and a limited pre-sale for each show on the tour is happening for members of the Decemberists fan community right here, right now.
Meanwhile, the Decemberists are appearing on Conan this Thursday, November 18, performing "Down by the Water" alongside Gillian Welch, and a digital single of that song comes out tomorrow, November 16.
