So the results are in: My Twin Peaks trivia skills are dulling with age. Without that, what am I?! So, I'm letting that ennui sink in. Two years ago, it was all doughnuts and obscure quote rememberin'... now it's tying for third place and mooching cherry pie off the winners... an all-star team I put together from the droves of Blogtownies who answered my call (five is so a drove!). The Ella Street was full with about 10 teams for ShanRock's Damn Fine Quizzery—And Hot!: Twin Peaks Trivia Night, hosted by the flannel-tastic Margaret. Because of our awesome numbers we had to split the all-stars into two teams, the Triple R (with Tim, Courtney G., and amazing TP buff Laura) and The Unseemly Owls (with poetry expert Ben, cartoon animal Carolyn, and me). I sort of thought Courtney G. was going to be the ringer (she hosted a costume-mandatory TP theme party a couple years ago!), but Laura kicked some serious tail feather. They only got ONE question wrong. That, my friends, is how you win a trivia bout.
- Damn good cherry pie. And victory, I bet that tasted good too.
