The folks at traveling ramen show Boke Bowl are setting up camp at Cruzroom (2338 NE Alberta) tonight from 5-9 pm, for the second in their series of Ramen Nights. The first took place at SE's Globe Bar back on September 27, and it looks like the Boke folks—Patrick Fleming and Brannon Riceci—are going to do it again: They're taking over Cruzroom's menu and replacing it with one by chef Fleming. Meanwhile, Cruzroom bar manager Aaron Taylor will be offering cocktails to go with the special menu.
With fall having officially begun this weekend, I can't think of a better dish than ramen to go with it. There's also the promise of Boke's patented Twinkies, which I gather have to be seen to be believed. Forget the $5 for a dollar stuff—this sounds like a great chance to get some real-deal ramen.
