Sure, she's trying to ruin Spider-Man with her Broadway musical, but I'm a hard-line Julie Taymor apologist. I mean, c'mon, Titus and Frida were AWESOME. (I try not to dwell on Across the Universe). Going back to the Shakespeare well seems like a good idea for Taymor's unique otherworldly vision, and combine that with the magicks of The Tempest and what could go wrong, right! Right?! (Stop harping on the Spider-Man musical, Erik!) Take a gander for yourself:
