Check out the video for Corin Tucker Band's "Riley" from 1,000 Years, which comes out tomorrow on Kill Rock Stars. See Corin Tucker and her associates at work in what looks like a small practice space, not all that different from Little Golden Book Studio where they recorded the record, including this Byrds-y track. The band includes Sara Lund (Hungry Ghost) on drums, Seth Lorinczi (the Golden Bears) on guitar, and Mike Clark (Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks) on bass. The video was directed by local director/cinematographer Aubree Bernier Clarke and tells the story of a pair of teens, you know, like hanging out and stuff. Quite a few recognizable shots of Portland, including a nice segment on the Skidmore Bluffs.
